The aim is to encourage members in writing short stories on given topics to share with others in the group and to give helpful and friendly feedback on written work as well as learning from other people’s style of writing and gaining confidence in our own writing.  Most importantly, we won’t take ourselves too seriously! This will be a very informal group where everybody can feel free to contribute ideas, but most importantly, feel the therapeutic benefit of writing ANYTHING and having FUN at the same time.

The group will meet at Sidcot School Friends Meeting House on the second Wednesday of the month, from 10 am to midday. The first meeting will be on Wednesday 13^th May. There is a small kitchen available, but Chris suggests that people bring their own drink for this first session.  Note: this venue will only be financially possible if there are at least six/seven members in the group and the room hire cost will be £2 per person for each session. Remember to bring pen/paper/laptops!
