Winscombe District u3a Groups

Below is the current list of active groups in the Winscombe District u3a. For more information on a group click on group name that will open another page. The dates and times are a guide as the dates may vary for some groups, especially groups who have outings.

Most groups meet locally, either by hiring rooms or at members' homes. A small charge is made by some groups for materials or towards the hire of a room.

Each group has a leader, who has some knowledge or interest of the subject but the learning is by shared experience of the subject.

If you have a particular interest or expertise not currently represented amongst our groups please contact us and discuss the possibility of forming a new group.

To join a group you will need to be a member of Winscombe District u3a. Either come along to a Coffee morning at the Winscombe Community Centre 10am - midday on the 1st Monday of the month (except August), where contact details are available or use the Contact Page on this website to send us a message and we'll get back to you.

Members from neighbouring u3as are welcome to join one of our groups (providing the is a vacancy) without becoming a full member of Winscombe District u3a. If you wish to join more than one group you are expected to become a member of Winscombe District u3a.
