Play reading is a monthly group, meeting on the 4^th Wednesday morning from 10-12 am.

We meet at the Friends Meeting House in Sidcot, and sit in a circle.

Books are given out books and parts allocated, trying to make sure that everyone gets to be the main character every so often.

We read the play, stopping occasionally to discuss the plot and our feelings about the play.

We have read a variety of plays from Ibsen and Shaw to Graham Greene and Alan Bennet. Some are thrillers, some comedies and other classics. Recently we read Ibsen-The Dolls House and next we hope to read Noel Coward- Present Laughter.

It is a very enjoyable and mindful time, for you have to concentrate as to when to come in.
